Tinhte-Khả năng chụp hình HDR vốn đã trở nên bình thường trên những chiếc máy ảnh DSLR trung cấp/cao cấp, thậm chí là cả smartphone ngày nay nhưng để nói về quay phim HDR thì khái niệm đó vẫn còn khá lạ lẫm và chưa được nhiều người biết đến. Về cơ bản, quay phim HDR (High Dynamic Range - Dải tương phản động mở rộng) cũng có ý tưởng và mục đích giống chụp hình HDR. Trên smartphone cao cấp, HDR đều nhằm một mục đích cân bằng ánh sáng tại các vùng có độ sáng tối khác nhau, để chắc chắn rằng không một vùng nào trong tấm hình bị thiếu sáng hay thừa sáng. HDR đặc biệt hữu dụng khi quay/chụp ở các điều kiện ngược sáng.
HDR (High Dynamic Range) là gì?
HDR là viết tắt của High Dynamic Range, dịch nôm na ra tiếng Việt thì nó là Dải tương phản động mở rộng. Với những ai dùng máy ảnh DSLR và thích chơi ảnh thì có lẽ không còn lạ gì với khái niệm này. Định nghĩa cũng như mục đích của HDR trên máy ảnh chuyên nghiệp và smartphone khác nhau rất nhiều, bài viết này mình chủ yếu nói về khái niệm HDR trên smartphone mà thôi. HDR trên máy ảnh chuyên nghiệp là một khái niệm cao hơn, kết quả là cho ra những tấm hình nghệ thuật và rất khác thường. Thông thường, để có được một tấm hình HDR, người chụp cần tới nhiều hơn 2,3 tấm hình với các giá trị phơi sáng (EV) khác nhau. Đó có thể là 3 tấm, 5 tấm thậm chí là 9 tấm với độ sáng khác nhau (quá thừa sáng, thừa sáng, bình thường, thiếu sáng và quá thiếu sáng) và ghép lại để được một hình HDR.
Trên smartphone, về cơ bản HDR vẫn là chụp các hình ảnh ở những độ sáng khác nhau và gộp lại nhưng với mục đích chỉ là cân bằng ánh sáng để hình không bị quá tối khi chụp ngược sáng mà thôi (không cho ra ảnh nghệ thuật cao). Quá trình này được thực hiện hoàn toàn tự động, điện thoại sẽ chụp hình, ghép và xử lý chúng để cho ra một hình HDR.

Khái niệm chụp HDR trên điện thoại đã dần trở nên bình thường và tới năm 2013, một khái niệm mới ra đời đó là quay video HDR trên smartphone. Quay phim HDR lần đầu được đề cập vào tháng 8 năm ngoái khi Sony giới thiệu cảm biến Exmor RS mới của họ có khả năng này. Những đoạn phim được quay với chế độ HDR bật sẽ giúp cân bằng sáng tối tại các vùng khác nhau. Khi bạn quay phim ngược sáng (hướng máy lên trời chẳng hạn), khoảng sáng của trời sẽ lấn át các vật thể khác trong hình và khiến chúng tối om nhưng nhờ HDR mà khoảng sáng/tối đó sẽ được cân bằng, bạn vẫn có thể nhìn thấy trời và các vật thể bị ngược sáng một cách hoàn hảo. Theo giải thích của Sony, cảm biến của họ sẽ ghi lại hai giá trị phơi sáng (exposure) khác nhau và xử lý chúng để có được một thước phim với dải tương phản động rộng hơn và ánh sáng tốt, ngay cả khi quay ở điều kiện ngược sáng. Một số smartphone hiện nay có thể quay HDR như Xperia Z hay Find 5 của Oppo...
Cũng giống như chụp hình HDR, quay phim HDR trên máy DSLR cũng là khái niệm khác với khả năng đó trên điện thoại di động. Năm 2010, chúng ta đã được xem một đoạn video được thực hiện với khả năng này và hình ảnh hiện lên trước mắt là rất rực rỡ, bắt mắt. Người ta dùng hai chiếc máy Canon 5D Mark II để quay song song, một được thiết lập quay video thiếu sáng và một dư sáng, quay ở cùng một góc. Sau đó chúng được ghép lại thành một đoạn video duy nhất như thứ mà bạn thấy bên dưới.
1. Sony Xperia Z
Cảm biến Exmor RS của Sony được thương mại hóa đồng nghĩa trên thị trường đã xuất hiện một số mẫu smartphone cao cấp có khả năng quay phim HDR. Đầu tiên phải kể đến Xperia Z, đứa con cưng của Sony trong năm 2013. Cảm biến Exmor RS mà Sony trang bị cho điện thoại có độ phân giải đạt 13MP, con chip bốn nhân 1.5GHz giúp máy đủ sức xử lý video HDR. 2. Oppo Find 5
Mẫu Find 5 của Oppo cũng sử dụng cảm biến Exmor RS do Sony sản xuất, nó thậm chí còn ra mắt trước cả khi Sony giới thiệu Xperia Z. Find 5 có chung cảm biến Exmor RS như Xperia Z với độ phân giải 13MP và dĩ nhiên là tính năng quay HDR. Xem thử những đoạn video HDR được quay từ Find 5 cũng cho thấy chất lượng rất tốt và hiệu quả. Quay video, chụp hình ngược sáng là một trong những khó khăn đối với điện thoại nhưng với tính năng HDR Video thì điều đó đã được giải quyết. Find 5 có màn hình 5" Full-HD, CPU bốn nhân 1.5GHz, RAM 2GB, bộ nhớ trong 16GB/32GB, máy ảnh 13MP, cài sẵn Android Jelly Bean.
3. HTC One
One là smartphone mới nhất được HTC giới thiệu trước thềm MWC 2013. Máy kế thừa dòng sản phẩm One X của hãng trong năm ngoái với nhiều thay đổi về cấu hình. Dù chỉ có cameraUltrapixel độ phân giải 4MP nhưng One cũng được trang bị tính năng quay phim HDR ở độ phân giải Full-HD. Bên dưới là video quay HDR từ One và bạn sẽ thấy bất ngờ về nó.
